Tabata Training for a HUGE Pump

If you have been hitting the training hard for a while there will come a time when you hit a plateau. There are a number of ways to BURST through plateaus: HIIT training, periodization,  rest pause, FST and so on. One of the training types that I read about and am extremely excited to try is Tabata training.

Tabata training is a timed training style that has you work for a total of 4 minutes on any given exercise. The best bet for bodybuilding is to use this style as a finishing move for extra pump and detail. 

Here is what it would look like:
  • 4 min total time
    • 20 seconds high intensity work
    • 10 seconds rest
    • completed over 8 segments 
You will find that you may have to check your ego at the door and use lighter weights but you will get an extreme burn followed by an extreme pump!

Oh by the way you may want to load up on the recovery supplements for this one because you are going to be sore.
